upgrades to StampOffers.com are now complete! Here are
the changes that were made to make your experience even more enjoyable: ADVANCE
SEARCH BY SELLER: The advance search
option now allows you to search by seller. Narrow in our your
favorite seller and the stamp offers that he or she may have available. ADVANCE
SEARCH BY REGION: Prefer to buy from
a particular area of the world? Now you can search for listings in
a particular country, province, or state! LISTING
PREFERENCES: Sellers can now preset a
few listing preferences that will automatically populate whenever they
log on to sell an item thus speeding the listing process. DUTCH
RELIST: Now if you have a dutch
auction in which only partial offers are sold, the remaining items will
relist automatically until all items are sold or until your relist
options expire. DEDICATED
STAMP CHAT BOARD: Probably the most
long awaited upgrade is the dedicated chat board that will allow
collectors from all over the world to communicate with ease! Simply
click on the STAMP CHAT link at the top of any page and you can immerse
yourself into the StampOffers.com Community. KEYWORD
TRACKING: Now you can enter a number
of keywords that pertain to items you may be interested in. When
an item is listed with one of your keywords in the title, you will
receive an email alert from StampOffers.com. Never miss an offer!
You can find this by logging into MY ACCOUNT – EMAIL KEYWORDS. INVOICING
SYSTEM: Probably the biggest
programming change is in the invoicing. The invoicing system has
been completely revamped to make it easier for the buyer and seller.
As a seller, when you create an invoice, the complete contact
information becomes visible on the invoice thus, making it easier for
you to determine the proper shipping charges. Also, you can view
by bidder and retrieve a nice list of all items attached to the invoice.
And…there is a comment section that will allow you to include any
specific instructions to the buyer. For both parties, the invoice
can be printed in a form that makes it easy and clear to view what
transaction is taking place. BULK
UPLOAD: Something that a few have
been asking for is a bulk upload option. Currently, there is an
addition that is an administrative bulk upload. Meaning that the
site owner can obtain your files and do the bulk uploads. This is
still being “tweaked” a bit and if you are interested in assisting
the beta testing just send an email to StampOffers.com. MINOR COSMETICS: There were a few minor cosmetic changes made like a time and date stamp in the upper right of each page, page numbering when viewing a list of items have improved GREATLY, Updated Listing Description Editor allows for quick page load during listing process, and more. ADMINISTRATIVE CHANGES: There were a few administrative changes as well to assist in bringing speed and even greater stability to the site. The next round of upgrades will not be scheduled until after the new year. StampOffers.com – The World Is Finding Us! 04 April 2008 - Script Update Today we added a feature that has been requested for some time. When creating an invoice through the site, the seller can now include comments for the buyer. This will make it easier to communicate any bit of extra information that may be important to completing the transaction. Thank you for your continued support. 06 March 2008 - Script Update Today we launched a new feature that can be found on the home page of StampOffers.com. The TOP SELLERS THIS MONTH section provides notoriety to sellers who have found success on StampOffers.com by listing the top 10 sellers. This list will continually update throughout the month as sellers sell more items. If you want to see what these sellers are offering that allows them to have success, simply click on any one of their user id's to be taken directly to their stamp offers! Watch for more exciting features throughout the year! 04 March 2008 - Move to a dedicated server StampOffers.com has been down for the past week as we made a move to a dedicated server. This will not only provide us with more security and protect us from being shut down by idiotic spammers but, will also provide a platform to carry us as we continue to grow. If you want to support StampOffers.com, check out these ONE PENNY NO RESERVE items being offered by the owner of the site where all revenue generated goes back into the site with upgrades, give-aways, advertising, and more. Thank you for your continued support. 24 February 2008 - SPAM EMAILS This is a special announcement about a rash of SPAM emails going out. First, let me apologize for this occurring. StampOffers.com does NOT send out SPAM emails!! The only emails that are sent are to those who are members of StampOffers.com. Recently, there was an individual who gained access to the site as a bidder and placed a number of fake/fraudulent bids. This user created 3 different ID's and attempted to wreak havoc with each one. It appears we have finally been able to block this person from accessing the site and thus has turned to another form of cowardly entertainment. These emails ARE NOT coming from StampOffers.com, our host, nor any server that our host runs. I am trying everything I can to stop this and apologize to everyone. I would like to ask your assistance. When receiving these emails, contact the ISP you find in the header and point them to this board. I am a private individual who has been running this site for 5 years. I have no interest in making money (I provide the site for FREE for everyone to use) and definitely have no desire to send out SPAM emails. 6 February 2008 - Three new upgrades! Albeit minor upgrades at this point, these are three items that were widely requested by our users.
The next set of upgrades are currently being worked on by the programmer and we hope to have them active soon! Remember, one way you can help is by bidding on items sold by StampOffers.com. You can find those items by CLICKING HERE! Thank you for your continued support. 19 January 2008 - Set your own start date! StampOffers.com introduces a new option that allows you more flexibility and convenience. Now you can list your item and choose the date in which you want your item to go active! List your item today and choose one week from now before it becomes active. List a few today, a few more tomorrow, and a few 4 days from now and they can all start on the same day and time. No longer do you have to try and get all listings listed at once in order to have them end on a certain day and time. If you do not want to use the set your own start date feature, then simply bypass the option and your item will become active as soon as you list it. 1 January 2008 - Welcome to the New Year!
